Coastal field study examining the distribution, abundance, and habitat association of marine crustaceans across Irish intertidal and subtidal zones.
Surveyed crustacean populations along stretches of the Irish shoreline to build a baseline of distribution and abundance across habitat types, supporting wider regional fisheries and habitat assessment work.
Methods combined repeated intertidal transects with subtidal trapping and morphometric analysis of captured individuals, with spatial outputs mapped in GIS for downstream comparison with habitat and environmental layers.
